A Reference for GHPOA Members and their Guests
June – September 2021

The Garnet Hill Property Owners Association board of directors has developed these guidelines for members and guests during the 2021 summer season. These rules are based on guidance issued by the CDC and New York State. Following these simple rules which are broadly in line with those developed last year will en-sure we can again all enjoy the Garnet Hill properties safely and with consideration for other homeowners and guests. As the summer progresses we may be able to update these guidelines, so please be sure to check any email communication you receive from the Garnet Hill POA in a timely manner so we can all stay up to date.

GHPOA Beach Covid Guidelines

• Avoid unnecessary contact with surfaces that are often touched, such as the docks, notice boards, phone. Hand sanitizer dispensers will be placed by the swim dock and the picnic area.

• Use the docks only for getting in to or out of the water. Do not sit or lie on them.

• When using the swim platforms move on and off them quickly. Do not linger on them. They should not be used for sunbathing.

The following additional guidelines will apply specifically to the boat launch area:

• Move quickly into and out of the water with your craft. Do not linger at the bottom of the boat ramp. Move your craft to and from the storage area in a timely manner. Do not leave craft at the bottom of the boat ramp for a pro-longed period.

Please ensure that these guidelines are distributed to all family members, guests and renters of your property.

Signage will be placed at various places around the waterfront to remind residents and guests of these guidelines. A PDF of these guidelines will be distributed to homeowners for their convenience in distributing to family and guests.
